Perhaps it is because culture and religion have glorified marriage., labeling it as a beautiful and all-important institution that is the norm for all couples. No wonder it is accepted that all serious relationships end in marriage. That is what society has led us to believe.

But when you actually take a look at the facts, you might think differently about this institution. The fatcs may help to answer the question, "Why are there so many divorces and failed marriages?"
Ancient human history shows that we are instinctually polygamous. Other cultures in today's world still live like ancient humans, untouched by modern culture, and they too are polygamous. Human anatomy also displays that we are naturally meant to mate with more than one partner. And then, of course, there are the high rates of divorce, infidelity, and unhappiness within marriage. After perusing this website you may find that marriage is not as natural as you may have previously thought.
